Home Again Home Again, Jiggity Jig

That is the little diddy my dad would sing to us when we would get home from a trip...except at the end he would add a loving, "two girls in the back seat lookin like a pig". Ahhh, such tenderness : )

For the past 2 weeks Kerrigan and I have been in Texas visiting my sister Brookey Babe and her family. We had a BLAST!!!! We did crafts, watched alot of Aaron Stone and Hannah Montana (woot woot), chopped my hairs and even worked out- thanks to Jillian from Biggest Loser, The 30 Day Shred. Sounds intense, right? IT WAS!!!!

We also (well I guess only me) partook of some of Brooke's delish home cooked meals, and I salute her Chimichungas (sp?)! Kerrigan was promptly renamed Baby Carrot (since Ainsley can't say Kerrigan), and the name has stuck. She got a kick out of her cousins, and I am really struggling to keep her entertained on my own.

The rest of the family came out for a week, and we went to the park a few time and just enjoyed one anothers' company. I will download pictures later. Big K is asleep right now (thank heavens) but she has been really sick the last couple of days- UGH! Since this is my first time with a sick baby, I am kind of in survival mode...just do the essentials to survive, nothing extra like going to the store, picture downloadage, excessive blogging, etc.

One of the best things about being around Brooke (besides her sinfully good looks and humor) is her photography skills. Here are a few pictures she took of Carrot, YAY:

L- O- V- E the drool in this one^ and spit bubbles in this one v !!!!

Did you notice I took THE PLUNGE and pierced her ears...TOO CUTE!!!!
Just a peek at what is to come (maybe when Jared gets home and is on baby duty): pictures from the trip, anniversary sappiness and a snotty nose update!

This peacefully sleeping couple, having been lulled to sleep by the humm of the local metro north train, didnt know what they had coming:

The Most Beautiful Sound in the World

Sunday night I was talking to Kerrigan and she started laughing...not the newborn "trying to laugh but sounds like a grunt", but an actual laugh! Jared grabbed the camera, and we are so excited to share her first laughs with you all.

Please ignore my stupidity...the girl has a strange sense of humor and thought it was hilarious!

While the Rest of the World....

...saw a pathetic, malicious awful excuse for a man, Kerrigan saw a hunka hunk of burnin love!!!

Everytime Jason would come on the screen, she would squeel, kick and smile. Watch out Molly!

Jared and I are just hoping this is not an indication of the kind of guys she will be bringing home someday : )

Jumping on the band wagon!

PK, so I know these are FLYING around the internet...and in the spirit of complete disclosure, I have participated in a few...hope that isn't cheating, but to hopefully be fair I am adding a number.

Here's how it works: the first SIX people to respond to this post will get something made by me personally. What I make is my choice, but it will be made JUST FOR YOU! My choice. For you.

However, like all things that sound too good to be true :), this offer does have some restrictions and limitations:

1- There is no guarantee that you will like what I make!

2- What I create will be just for you personally.

3- It will be completed sometime this year. :)

4- You will receive no clues as to what it's going to be.

5- I reserve the right to do something extremely strange if I so desire... it may blow your mind! Or it may not. It may be very simple and predictable... but hopefully you will benefit from it!

And like most things that sound too good to be true, there is a catch. You must re-post this on your blog and offer the same deal to the first 5 people who do the same on your blog. Not too bad, huh? In fact, I think it'll be a lot of fun!!

I AM SO EXCITED!!! I may even have my ever so talented sis help me make stuff...so you KNOW it will be good!
