Only in CT

First of all, I am SO excited to be able to put up my baby ticker, I love these things. I know alot of my friends already have the exact same one, so if you feel like I have copied you...feel flattered, because I did!
Second, I love Connecticut, especially working at a school in Connecticut (only 6 days left, WAHOO!!!). This is why: This past winter, on 2 separate occasions, I received a text message saying school was on a 2 hour delay. So I would think to myself, "Wow, it must be snowing pretty hard". Both times I looked out the window and there was not a SINGLE drop of moisture on the ground. Apparently here in CT they delay school when they suspect it is going to snow.

Now you may think I am having a random walk down memory lane, but there is a reason I have this on my mind. You see, today school was let out early because it was too hot (I think in the 90's). I also got a text message this afternoon saying tomorrow is early dismissal as well, for the same reason. We are getting out of school early because they think it will be too hot.
3 cheers for Connecticut.

Just a few side notes, this is coming from a girl used to the extreme weather of AZ and Idaho, so I may sound a little harsh. Also, the school I work at doesn't have a/c, and it was VERY hot in the building, so I will give them that. Also, I am NOT in any way complaining with the fact that I am getting out of school early tomorrow.

I love your baby count down it is way cuter than the one I have. I think I will copy you and change the one that is on our blog. Or maybe I put both on there. I am liking the 2nd trimester better than the 1st. I have alot more energy. I have another doc appt this Thursday so I will see if my due date really changed. I think that the ultasound lady did know what she was talking about. I let you know. We probably will still be due on the same day.
That is so funny about CT. I though it was bad in Idaho when they were always canceling school. But it does make sense if they have no AC. They NEVER cancelled school in AZ(well PHX area)

I think you have earned the right to have a hundred tickers on your blog no matter who has had them before you!!!!

i have that feeling a lot, living in flagstaff - which is some sort of black hole in AZ since it's DRASTICALLY different. ... i get a lot of "only in flagstaff" thoughts.

LOVE the new header, by the way!! :o)

So I have tried to post how excited I am that you are having a baby like six times but something always goes goofy with the computer. So for one more try... CONGRATS!!!!! I couldn't be more excited for your little family. What a wonderful time of life for you. I am sure you don't feel like that right now but I am sure you out of anyone will appreciate it. I can't wait to see this new baby! You are such a lucky girl to be pregnant during the summer in CT if the hotsest it gets is 90. With vanessa I was sure I was going to die several times from the heat. I love ya and please keep the blog up to date so we know what is up. Also whe you are coming to az. Brad is working as a full time realtor and so we have a little more wiggle room for trips out of town. Hopefully we will see you soon or perhaps you could have the baby in arizona and that would be even better!!!!

I agree with the last post/comment that you should have the baby in AZ, since that is where dave and I will most likely be. Are kids could be playmates. Oh, and I can see you with a girl first, but you would be a great mother to either.
