Shlumpy...

According to wiktionary.org, shlumpy means

Adjective: schlumpy (comparative schlumpier, superlative schlumpiest)

1.Looking like a schlump; slovenly or unbecoming

Today, I feel like a shlump. It is the only word to describe how I feel.
My own personal definition is this: the realization that it is Thursday and with the exception of a pediatric visit, you and your child have yet to get dressed beyond pj's, fix our hair or really leave the apartment all week.

Yep, today I realize how shlumpy I have been this week, and it's a little embarrassing.

Is this normal or am I alone? Do you ever have weeks like this? Or does this post just give you the urge to call Child Protective Services?

Isn't it freezing where you live? That would be enough to keep me home in my pj's :)
The double stroller in our pictures is a chariot bike trailer, we have the jogging stroller attachment. I really like it for outside (and its main purpose for us is using it as a bike trailer) but I would never take it in stores. The side by sides are just to wide.
I just got a regular double stroller and love it. I was a little nervous about the brand, but after lots of research it had everything I wanted. It is the
Baby Trend Silverado Sit N' Stand Plus Double Stroller. Good luck :).

We all have those weeks! It is way easier to have them with one smaller one. As K gets bigger she'll force you out more often:) If you ever need to get out, call me. We'd love to hang out or meet you somewhere. I'm always trying to get mine out or they go stir crazy!!

Shlumpy is when you get up on a weekday and instead of taking your daughter to school, you declare the day to be Saturday. Then the little smart a** says "No it's not Saturday it's monday."

To which you reply, "It's satuday if I say it's saturday."

(sorry about the cursing, it is seriously the only thing I can think of when she does that to me)

I love having those days every once in a while! Especially during the winter.

You are definitely not alone! I think I'm schlumpy pretty much every day. I think I'm awesome when I shower before noon!
