And I still have nothing interesting to say! So I perused through my camera in hopes of finding something worth posting. This was the best I came up with- SORRY!
Kerrigan has discovered the joys of climbing. Unfortunately, I think it will take learning the woes of climbing (i.e. FALLING) before she realizes this probably isn't the best leisure activity!
This is her pink monkey Grandma and Grandpa Stokes got for her when she was a few months old. She loves to carry it around her neck. I am not sure why I think it is so funny, but it makes me giggle every time!
I don't know what she is holding toward the camera, but the little bag she is lugging around is her "purse". It is the bag that Orson used as a gift bag for her Christmas presents. She sticks little toys in it and carries it around with her.
Again, not sure why I get such a kick out of it. I think I just like the fact that she realizes she can carry more if it is in the bag- my little smarty pants!
I have been trying to let her feed herself. Don't let this picture fool you, it is not going great. While she does look dang cute doing it, not a whole lot actually getting into her mouth. That in addition to new found pickiness (remember a few weeks ago when I said she was starting to get picky...yep, it was just the tip of the ice burg my friends!) makes mealtimes a joy and a pleasure, beyond all measure.
At least she looks good while being a stinker!
Oh, we had her 12 month appointment (only 1 1/2 months late) yesterday. The rough eating habits have resulted in her being in the 50th percentile for height and 10th for weight. No front facing seating for this girl for awhile!
We are just getting over colds in our house (hence the complete lack of hairdo's and clothing in all the pictures). We thought she was doing well enough that maybe they would immunize her...and we got schooled.
Not only was she not well enough, they put her on breathing treatments because apparently (unbeknownst to Jared and I- A+ in parenting) she was wheezing...oops.
Also, have you noticed the terrible quality of all my pictures? The lighting in our house bites, so my ISO is always set on 800- which mean grainy city for all the pictures. Oh, well! Can't wait for summer which= sun which= nice pictures again!!!!
Well, that is about it for now. Sorry this post was so booooooring!

There is something called a flash that may help with your low-light photography.
Woowee look at that Mr Photography boy go. . . how did he beat me in commenting that's the REAL question. He should be at work :)
So back to my ORIGINAL comment.
A. Never boring when K is involved.
B. Apparently she didn't inherit then entire spider monkey gene. . . only partial (hence climbing. Ains rarely falls though, she's got the full gene)
C. Having a partial monkey gene I can see why she is drawn to the pink monkey. But my favorite is that she wears it!!!
D. My surgery bag would have been really useful right about now. If only you would have held onto it, Carrot could carry the WORLD in it :)
E. Don't get me started with picky eaters. I am just so glad that I have ONE child who loves food as much as I do!
F. Start giving her PediaSure. . . mmm good stuff, and it will give her some extra fluff so she can see the world how it is meant to be seen when in a car :) Actually it's just good stuff for those very picky kids. Full of good stuff and tastes good too.
G. So lack of clothing in winter can't be fun right? I know ains running around nude does wonders on our heating bill.
H. Good thing we get more than three strikes in parenting! How is she doing with the breathing treatments. . . she cool with the mask? Is she even using a machine?
NOTE TO SELF. . . if you don't ever stop typing, then of course other people will beat you to the comments!
I just realized it wasn't so much lack of clothes for you guys, more pj wear. . . story of our lives. Live it up while you can!
Awwwwwwwww she is too cute!!! Ohh you will have a few little heart attacks while she learns to climb mercy I have had my share of them..
My kid turns three in March and I still have to feed him. Otherwise he doesn't eat dinner. (Which he'd be completely fine with.)
She is so adorable, Lindsey!
